BJP Maharashtra Minority Morcha Felicitates SSC Toppers

Mumbai, 21st July 2010: The Bharatiya Janata Party Maharashtra Minority Morcha organized a Felicitation Function for the Toppers & Achievers of the SSC Board exam today at MMC Centre in Malad West. The function began with the recitation of the holy Quranic verses as is common in events organized by the Maharashtra Minority Morcha’s Presdient Janaab Hyder Azam.

The event proceeded with thye felicitation of the honorable guests and principals of the schools who have achieved 100% results in the SSC examination this year. Some prominent figures from the socio-political scene were present at this mega event. These included Shri Sudhir Mungantiwar (President BJP Maharashtra) & Shrimati Smriti Irani (National President – BJP Mahila Morcha) & Shri Ram Naik (Ex-Union Minister).

The event was organized on a large scale with approximately five hundred students accompanied with their parents. Gift Vouchers & Gifts were distributed alongwith Certificates to the students who have achieved 60% and above marks. Special trophies were also distributed to children with 90% and above. Other dignitaries who addressed the crowd included Mr Gopal Shetty (MLA & BJP President – Mumbai), Mr Sambhaji Patil (BJP President – Maharashtra Yuva Morcha), Mr Yogesh Sagar (MLA), Mr Ganesh Hake (BJP – Spokesperson  Maharashtra), Mr Jamal Siddiqui (BJP Gen Secretary – Minority Morcha Maharashtra) & Mr Rajesh Athaide (St Angelos Institute).

The event was characterized by the applause & appreciation given to the organizer of the program Janaab Hyder Azam (President Maharashtra Minority Morcha). The children were very enthusiastic about the whole event. One student said: “We need these kind of programs to inspire ourselves & our juniors to strive hard & achieve good results in the exams.”.

The principals of the schools felicitated were also exuberant and were in consensus that inorder to achieve 100% results, it is important that philanthropists like Janaab Hyder Azam come forward with such  programs to inspire students & also set an example for other leaders if they wish to win the hearts of the generations to come. The event ended with a thank you speech from Haji Iftekhar Hussain & Janaab Hyder Azam.
