Landslide blocks movement of Konkan Railway trains on west coast
NEW DELHI - Thousands of passengers were have been left stranded after a landslide blocked movement of trains on the Konkan Railway route near Ratnagiri.
Heavy rainfall along the west cost has triggered massive landslides, leading to at least 11 trains being cancelled and diversion of three others.
Several trains from Delhi and Mumbai have been stranded midway due to the landslide.
The Karwar Express from Mumbai to Goa, the Kerala Express from New Delhi to Kochi, the Ajmer-Arnakullam Express and the Matsyagandha Express are among the trains that are not moving.
