It’s true that changes are inevitable. But it’s creativity and perseverance withstand every hurdle and continue.

despite cleaning, awareness sessions, people will continue throwing garbage. I have installed CCTV next to my home, despite of CCTV some people throw garbage in the nearby canal. they want to keep their backyard clean by throwing their garbage on public area.

Last week I was on the way to airport around 11 PM, a bike rider from kodibengre was infront of our car and he thrown the garbage at Nejar openly even he is not bothered to throw the garbage infront of lights, means he is not even bothered that somebody is watching his act or can record his act.

Just an advise until panchayath can come up with complete solution lets keep some bins to put the garbage for such offenders, by doing that people can throw in that bin rather polluting the nature and will be easy for panchayat to dump those collected garbage rather bringing the team to collect the garbage from pond or canal.

Without proper awareness and control from authorities it is difficult to maintain.

Kemmannu Panchayat should install bins for collecting waste ...

Good initiative by panchayat. Problem started from the period people on both sides of thodu stopped paddy cultivation earlier during October month all the paddy field owners used to clean the thodu on a particular day all will assemble voluntarily and participate without any govt grant.

Yes, it is a good initiative, God bless all who are the reason for it.

Now, maintaining garbage free canal is a huge task, as we often hear people saying "Where there is a will, there is a way.. look for that way...

Good move from Panchayat...people might’ve seen how difficult to clean this filthy things...it is now responsibility of the people residing around to maintain n also have an eye on those culprits who dump from bridge.

In-spite of Swatch Bharat initiative by our honorable Prime Minister, nothing seems to have changed.

The change should come with our attitude to clean environment,where we live and lead our small journey of this world.

The basic problem faced by Kemmannu is not having garbage collection boxes and its effective disposals.

Unless the panchayat act in this regard, garbage problem will continue to persist and spoil our beautiful place.

Please install cctv and catch the culprits and impose heavy fines. Please make arrangements for municipality vehicles to collect the garbage every day.
