A few road humps between Santhekatte and Kemmannu (till church) to be put up to reduce the accidents. It will also help the riders to be more cautious and limit their speed. I hope the Kemmannu panchayat will take some action immediately since overspeeding by all types of vehicles in this stretch is common nowadays.

Best memory about St. Philomina Schools Kabbaddi team for me is that those day’s local school level tournaments were held at Hindu School ground. Philomina school having no male PD’s used to take the help of some experts (forgot the name)from Kemmannu. Having very good players like Leo,Francis, Raphael, Harald it was easy for the trainer. They were fed with a hefty tiffin (luxury those days), going to Hindu school with full army of students. Winning each and every match, climax being Leo raiding the opponents territory with the last player remaining, picking up the hapless boy and carrying him back to the center to the thunders of applause. Raphael and Harald are no more but the memories are fresh.

@ peter there was one more guy from padukudru used to jump in kabbadi, I don’t remember his name, his brother was a good left hand volley ball player. Even Neval Prakash D’souza also using this technique to jump in Kabbaddi. Anyway Congrats to the players and the school.
