The news of crash landing and the damage caused to the flight and the mental stress and pain that put the passengers in dire situation is not covered by other media. We should try to give the important news to other major news agencies so the news of such tragedy will be spread to the public in a wider scale and new carrer for Mangalore passengers will be provided.

Please note that I do not want to make panic on Air India express travel as it’s our national carrier . But the fact can’t be ignored as what happened on 16/08/2012 a serious incident . One of the passenger on the same flight from Thonse I request the gentleman to comment on this matter. I hope the authories take appropriate steps to avoid such insidence protect the life/sufferings of Air India Express travellers

I wish to double confirm the above incidence with the following observations
1)I was travelling on the flight IX-814 on 16/08/2012 from Dubai –Mangalore which was directed to Calicut (Kozhikode)Airport at around 6.30am (I can’t remember exact minutes )
2) The flight had hard landing at Calicut airport on clear sky and due the same over head roof damaged as per the pictures.
3) All the passengers were panic no one bother to attend the pregnant women, little kids women. I was travelled alone

It was raining on a Sunday morning. Only one farmer boy showed up for Holy mass.
The pastor said, “There will not be Mass today since no one else showed up.”
The boy said, “When I put a cow call at feeding time and even if one cow shows up, I still feed the cow”.
The pastor took three hours to end the Mass. The sermon was on the subject: Unity but not Diversity in fostering language.

“Did you like the service today?” pastor asked the boy after the service.

“I would not dump all the fodder to one cow!” boy replies.

Very good deed for the environment,People should use cotton bags. We used to take these bags from home and pickup grocery from local grocerys, all the spices they packed in rolled paper (Lakote)or Thotte.

Drivers are not to blame the Manipal Karkala road near Parkala is very narrow. The shops here occupy the road how one can avoid accidents. According to traffic laws the accidents they are circumstances depending on certain road condition. HJV activists must protest to get more airlines from abroad at Bajpe. @ CDS for your information, There were two incidents of Hard landing by AIE flight from Dubai to Mangalore one in Mangalore on the 14th of August, this was reported by all the major local websites and the newspapers like TOI and udayavani and the second incident as per this website is on the 16th of August at Calicut airport. This may be a very small regular incident on the 16th and only this website made it big and reported. Anyway precaution is better than cure.

I think HJV activists do not know about this. To help the society they sometime storm the planes saying flying is not our culture. That offends us because only people in Lanka Rakashasa used Puspaka Vimana! that flew across the sea! Replace these pilots and planes because in Africa there are good pilots they often live in wild but flown better than AIE!
