Udupi : As many as 100 new positive cases and no deaths for COVID-19 reported in Udupi district on Sunday, July 25. Active cases are decreased to 751.

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 100 covid positive cases, 75 cases reported as symptomatic which 37 are male and 38  are female, meanwhile out of 25 cases of asymptomatic 11 are  male 14 female. 

Among 100 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 38, from Kundapura 28, Karkala taluk is 33 and from other districts is 1.

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients are 17 and at Home Isolation are 83. Total active cases today are 751.

 Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave on 24.07. 2021 are 3649 and total tested on second wave till 24.07.2021 is 394114. Total first wave and second wave tested are 762355. Total discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges on 25.07.2021 during second wave are 98 and total discharges on second wave are 44296.  Total discharges in the district are 67717.

Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190.  No death reported on second wave occurred today on Sunday on 25.07.2021. Till today deaths in second wave are 219.  Total deaths in the district are increased to 409. Total positives in first wave are 23611. Total positive in second wave is 45266. Total positives in the district are increased to 68877.

Udupi district COVID-19 vaccination today on Sunday are 18 to 44 years first dose 231 and cumulative total 155294, second dose16, cumulative second dose 2930, above 45 years Ist dose are 33 and cumulative total 305456, IInd dose 214 and cumulative total 143585, for HCW’s Ist dose 0 and cumulative total is 23533 and IInd dose 0, cumulative total is 19557, FLW’s Ist dose are 0 which cumulative total is 8072 and IInd dose 0 and cumulative total is 3977. Total today Ist dose are 264 which cumulative total is 492358 and for IInd dose are 230 people and cumulative total is170051.

Mucormyosis (Black Fungus) details in the district: In Udupi 0, Total till on 25.07.2021 the cases reported in Udupi is 5, In Karkalla 0, Till 25.07.2021 is 0, in Kundapura is 0, Till 25.07.2021 is 6, other districts is 1, Till 25.07.2021 is 33. Two deaths occurred today for black fungus. Four deaths are reported for black fungas in Udupi district till 25.07.2021. A total discharge on today is 2. Total discharges till 25.07.2021 is 33. Total cases in the district are 44. Total active cases are 8.
