Udupi : As many as 15 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no deaths reported on Monday, October 20, 2021. Total discharges today are 9 and active cases increased to 53.

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 15 covid positive cases, 15 cases reported as symptomatic which are 6 male and 9 are female, meanwhile out of 0 cases of asymptomatic  0 are  male and 0 are female. 

Among 15 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 14, from Kundapura 1, Karkala taluk is 0 and from other districts is 0. 

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients are 6 and at Home Isolation are 9.

Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave tested on 19.10.2021 are 3411 and total tested on second wave till 19.10.2021 is 824171. Total first wave and second wave tested are 1192412. Total discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges today on 20.10.2021 during second wave are 9 and total discharges on second wave are 52666.  Total discharges in the district are 76087.

Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190. One death reported on second wave occurred today on Wednesday on 20.10.2021. Till today deaths in second wave are 286.  Total deaths in the district are increased to 476

Total positives in first wave are 23611. Total positive in second wave is 53005. Total positives in the district are increased to 76616.

Udupi district COVID-19 vaccination today on Wednesday for 18 to 44 years first doses are 53 and cumulative total 441393, second dose 551 cumulative second dose 154881, above 45 years Ist dose are 31 and cumulative total  434412, IInd dose 293 and cumulative total 282882, for HCW’s Ist dose 0 and cumulative total is 23570 and IInd dose 0, cumulative total is 22781, FLW’s Ist dose are 0 which cumulative total is 8080 and IInd dose 0 and cumulative total  is 6500. Mucormyosis (Black Fungus) details in the district: In Udupi 0, Total till today on 20.10.2021 the cases reported in Udupi is 5, In Karkalla 0, Till today on 20.10.2021 is 0, in Kundapura is 0, Till today on 20.10.2021 is 6, other districts is 0, Till today 20.10.2021 is 42. No death occurred today for black fungus. Six deaths are reported for black fungas in Udupi district till today on 20.10.2021. Total cases in the district till today are 53. Total discharge on today is 0. Total discharges till today 46. Active cases are 1.
