Udupi : As many as 6 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no deaths reported on Friday, November 12, 2021 in Udupi district. Total discharges today are 8 and active cases are 38.

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 6 covid positive cases, 5 cases reported as symptomatic which is 3 male and 2 is female, meanwhile out of 1 cases of asymptomatic 1 is male and 0 is female. 

Among 4 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 5, from Kundapura 0, Karkala taluk is 1 and from other districts are 0. 

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients is 0 and at Home Isolation are 6.

Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave tested on 11.1.2021 are 2358 and total tested on second wave till 11.1.2021 is 872631. Total first wave and second wave tested are 1240872. Total discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges today on 12.11.2021 during second wave are 8 and total discharges on second wave are 52838.  Total discharges in the district are 76259.

Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190. No death reported on second wave occurred today on Friday on 12.11.2021. Till today deaths in second wave are 286.  Total deaths in the district are increased to 476

Total positives in first wave are 23611. Total positive in second wave is 53162. Total positives in the district are increased to 76773.

Udupi district COVID-19 vaccination today on Friday for 18 to 44 years first doses are 178 and cumulative total 455080, second dose 2643, cumulative second dose 214327, above 45 years Ist dose are 72 and cumulative total  435008, IInd dose 947  and cumulative total 325908, for HCW’s Ist dose 0 and cumulative total is 24282 and IInd dose are 3, cumulative total is 22909, FLW’s Ist dose are 0 which cumulative total is 7312 and IInd dose 2 and cumulative total  is  7133.Total today Ist dose are 250 which cumulative total is 920336 , IInd dose 3595, Cumulative total 546918.
