AMRITSAR: A day after UKs’ former home secretary Jack Straw blamed some Pakistani Muslim men for targeting "vulnerable" White girls sexually, UK’s Hindu and Sikh organizations also publicly accused Muslim groups of the same offence. Straw, in an interview to the BBC recently, had said, "...there is a specific problem which involves Pakistani heritage men...who target vulnerable young white girls...they see these young women, white girls who are vulnerable, some of them in care ... who they think are easy meat."

New Delhi: Nashik onion traders on Monday decided not to purchase onions for two days from the Agricultural Produce Market Committees, following the nationwide I-T raids on onion traders.Traders are protesting against the Maharashtra government’s directive of selling onions at not more than Rs 40 per kg. The decision was taken by Nashik District Onion Traders Association at a meeting.Farmers, meanwhile are angry with the traders’ decision. The Maharashtra State Government has called an emergency meeting of traders to resolve the crisis.

Kaup : The revelation that children studying in the government Higher Primary Urdu School at Mallar Gram Panchayat limits in Kaup, were served mutton curry and biriyani instead of the vegetarian Bisiyoota as per the government guidelines, has now sparked off a contravercy.
