Convincing party ticket aspirants after ‘Suraksha Yatra’

Mangaluru: “Convincing of aspirants for the party ticket will commence only after the culmination of ‘Suraksha Yatra’. There are many aspirants for this year’s state elections”, said BJP state President B.S. Yedyurappa. He was speaking to Udayavani in an exclusive interview, after arriving to Mangaluru in relation to the organizing of ‘Suraksha Yatra’.

Since there are expectations for BJP to win the upcoming elections, there are many seekers for party ticket. We welcome them. For every constituency, only on candidate can be appointed. This move can lead to unhappiness among those who failed to get selected. So, when our government is formed, justice will be done by providing them with better opportunities. As soon as the Suraksha Yatra’ is over, ticket aspirants from all the constituencies will be called together and the situation will be explained to them, preventing any cause for dissent.

I have already visited all 224 constituencies in the state and taken stock of the election environment there. I have met the senior-junior party members and also ticket aspirants of the respective constituencies. This gathered information has already been sent to party national president Amit Shah. Amit Shah has also conducted two surveys in the respective constituencies to collect their information. All this information will be cross referred and candidates for all constituencies will be soon selected.

“I have already completed three rounds of tour in the state which included processions, paada Yatra, farmer’s convention, women’s convention, youth convention, employment convention. Much preparation has been done for the upcoming state elections. Party workers are working hard for party promotion on booth levels”, he said.

“People are tired of Congress government’s bad administration under the leadership of Siddaramaiah. Corruption has increased in the state. Hooliganism, murders, rape incidents are taking place without inhibition. Sick of the currents states condition, people have decided to vote for BJP in the upcoming elections”, he added.
