Udupi: The National Level Tennis ball DNI cricket trophy by Udyavara Friends from April 29 to May 1 inaugurated by Oscar Fernandes at Udyavar gram panchayat ground.

28  cricket teams from Karnataka, Maharastra, Goa and Chennai are participating in this tournament. Winners will get a cash prize of Rs. 3.5 Lakh and the runners-up will get 2 Lakh along with the trophies. In addition there will be Man of the Series and Man of the Match, Best Bowler and Best Batsman awards.

ಉದ್ಯಾವರ: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಹೊನಲು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾಟ ನಿನ್ನೆ ಸಂಜೆ ಅದಿಕ್ರತವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು.

ಉದ್ಯಾವರ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್, ಉದ್ಯಾವರ ಇವರ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ 25ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಹಣೆಯ ರಜತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ D. N. I.  ಕಪ್-2016.  ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಹೊನಲು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾಟ ನಿನ್ನೆ ಸಂಜೆ ಅದಿಕ್ರತವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು.

ಕೇರಳ, ಗೋವಾ, ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ, ಚೆನ್ನೈ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಹಿತ 28 ತಂಡಗಳು ಈ ಟೆನ್ನಿಸ್ ಬಾಲ್ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾಟ ದಲ್ಲಿ  ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ.

ಮೊದಲ ಬಹುಮಾನ 3. 5ಲಕ್ಷ  ಮತ್ತು ಟ್ರೋಫಿ.  ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಬಹುಮಾನ 2 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮತ್ತು ಟ್ರೋಫಿ. ಮತ್ತು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳು ಈ ಪಂದ್ಯಾಟ ದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಥಮ ಸ್ಥಾನ ವಿಜೇತ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ  ನೀಡುವಂತಹ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ  ಟೆನ್ನಿಸ್ ಬಾಲ್ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಮೊತ್ತವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವರು, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯಾರದಂತಹ ಆಸ್ಕರ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬ್ಲೋಸ್ಸಾಮ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಸಹಿತ ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳಾದ ಸುದೀರ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ, ಆಜಿ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಜಲೀಲ್ ಸಾಹೇಬ್, ಆಲೀಮಾ ಸಬ್ಜು, ರಿಯಾಜ್ ಪಳ್ಳಿ ಉದ್ಯಾವರ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು. ನಾಗೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಉದ್ಯಾವರ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಗಿರೀಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಉದ್ಯಾವರ,ಬಿಲ್ಲವ ಮಹಜನ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು. ದಿವಾಕರ್ ಬೊಲ್ಜೆ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಉದ್ಯಾವರ, ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಮನೋಹರ್ ಕರ್ಕಡ ಗೌರವ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಉದ್ಯಾವರ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್, ಉದ್ಯಾವರ. ಅಲೆಕ್ಸ್  ಲುವಿಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಉದ್ಯಾವರ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್, ಉದ್ಯಾವರ. ಮಹೇಶ್ ಲೋನಾ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, M. A.  ಗಪೂರ್, ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಕುಮಾರ್ SCDCC ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ ಆಸ್ಕರ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ರವರು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಕರು ದೇಶದ ಆಸ್ತಿ.  ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಂತಹ ಯುವಕರು ವಿಶ್ವದ ಯಾವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಈ ಮೈದಾನವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಟುಗಳು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ಈ ಮೈದಾನಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು 20 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಅನುದಾನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.  ಅದನ್ನು  ದಿವಂಗತ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಬಳಸಿ ಸುಂದರ ಮೈದಾನವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪಂದ್ಯಾಟ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು. ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ  ಗಣ್ಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಟೀವನ್ ಕುಲಸೊರವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.  ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ರೇಡಿಯೋ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

The tournament will be powered by DNI Home Theatre. The entire tournament will be telecast in the local cable channel. A digital display will be installed at the grounds with the provision of third umpire. The total cash prize is summed up to Rs. 5,50,000. The winning team will get Rs. 3,50,000 and the runners up will win Rs. 2,00,000.

The Udyavar Friends Club is led by Ronald Manohar Karkada as the honorable president. The committee consists of Alex Lewis as the president, Mahesh Suvarna, Secretary, Steevan Colaco, Treasurer, Raghvendra Suvarna as the sports secretary.
