Melbourne: Wife and son of Indian techie fall to death from high-rise building
Melbourne: An Indian techie’s wife and his four-month-old son died after falling from their balcony in a high-rise building in Melbourne. Supraja Srinivas, allegedly jumped along with her son Shrihan and died on the spot. Her husband, Gannaram Srinivas, works with Tech Mahindra as an IT engineer. It is believed that Supraja committed suicide and the family is now planning to take the bodies to India.
According to Victoria Police, it was believed the both Supraja and her son may have fallen from an internal balcony. The police also confirmed that they are looking for anyone else in this case’s connection.
Supraja’s husband, Gannaram Srinivas, an IT engineer working with Tech Mahindra, collapsed at the scene and was admitted to hospital.
The couple also have a five-year-old daughter.
Victoria Police spokeswoman said it was believed the woman and child may have fallen from an internal balcony. The spokeswoman said police were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
