BEWARE: PEEPING TOM SPOTTED IN RAJARAJESHWARI NAGAR

A woman has flagged a ‘Peeping Tom’ alert in Rajarajeshwarinagar, writing on social media about a man who has been targeting residential buildings in the area for the last six months and peeping into bathrooms and bedrooms.

This act was caught by a CCTV installed at one of the houses in the locality, the footage of which was attached with the post.

This is what the woman posted (sic): “This is an alert to all of us in Rajarajeshwarinagar, we have found a psycho going around in BEML, fifth stage near New Horizon Public School, he is coming to almost all the houses here, he aims at peeping bedroom, washroom windows and targets looking at ladies. We have found him in the houses from 11 pm till 2 pm. We tried to catch him couple of times and failed to as he is very well aware of all the roads and houses here, he climbs all the walls, compounds, Sajjas of any height without any effort. He seems to be very dangerous and needs all your help to catch him. He is doing this from many months now and not all of them have noticed. Here we are attaching few CCTV footages which would help you finding him anywhere around you. We will share few more CCTV footage as and when we get them.”

However, this post triggered a debate on social media, with some residents saying that the miscreant was seen around six to seven months ago in the area. But around three to four women claimed that they and their relatives saw the peeping tom around four days ago in the area and he was still prowling around in the area.

Over the last three months, a series of such incidents where women have been targeted by perverts has left the city badly shaken up. Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) MN Anucheth said, “This incident happened in September last year. The case was registered on September 12, the accused was not traced, the CCTV image was shared on Facebook. A woman has said that she has seen a person who resembles the accused in the area a couple of days ago, so we visited the area and had a meeting with the residents and have formed a team to nab the accused.”

No. It all started in Amethi. But don’t worry. Abhi khel hamesha keliye khatam hogaya hai. 50 saal hone ke pahale shaadi karna acha hai.
