Mumbai, Sept.25: The 10th year of GSB Navratri Festival will be celebrating ‘Deepotsav’ on Ashtami (on 28th Sept). The highlight of the day is that the entire mandal will be off all electric lights and it will be lit up with 10,000 Diyas at 6:30pm in the evening for the maha-aarti. Mumbaikars are appealed to come and light one diya each to celebrate Ashtami and to add positivity to their lives. It will be a ‘No Electric Bulb’ evening. The devi’s Avtaar will be Sri Mahakali Devi and will be painted black in Colour by the committee members of GSB Sabha Dahisar Borivali.

This finale week, Thedeviavtaars include Chamundeshwari Devi on 25th Sep which is a replica of the idol from Mysore palace, chamundibetta which is famous for Mysore Dussehra. This Devi is adorned with 12 sarees and Lion is the chariot of the Devi. Shantadurga Devi on 26th Sept which is a Kuldaivat of many GSB’S &Maharashtrian Brahmin hailing from Ponda in Goa. Chandika Devi on 27th Sept which isa form of Goddess Parvatibased on replica of Chandika Temple from MP, Mahakali Devion 28th Sept which is asignificance of darkness to brightness in human lives, Mahalakshmi Devi on 29th Sept which is a replica of famous Kolhapur Temple of Maharashtra and lastly Sharada Devi Avtaar on 30th Sept which is form of Goddess Sita.The Sabha conducts daily poojas and sevas from 8 am to 10pm, programmes of Bhajans and Bhakti Sangeet as well as Dandiyaraas from 7 pm to 10 pm daily. This mega event is celebrated on a plot of land measuring approx. 2 acres and every year more than 1, 00, 000 devotees visit and participate in this 10 day grand function. It is the most important religious and cultural function being performed by the Sabha every year since 2008 under the aegis of Saraswat Cultural and Recreation Centre, a cultural wing of the Sabha and was inaugurated by Dharma Guru Shrimad SudhindraTirtha Swamiji, Varanasi.

In its 10th year now The GSB Navratri festival 2017 is a grand pandal erected on the 2 acre plot at The Saraswat Cultural Recreation Centre (GSB Garden), near N.L.Complex, Dahisar East from 21st Sept 2017 to 30th Sept 2017. More than 1,00,000 devotees visit and participate in this 10 days grand celebration. “The festival has a one-of-its-kind way of celebrating the 10 auspicious days. We are the only organization in Maharashtra who create these different Avatars of the Devi on all the 10 days and celebrate the festival in a truly traditional way. The entire GSB Community in Maharashtra throng at the festivity to celebrate with oneness”, said Mr. UdayPadiyar, General Secretary, GSBSabhaDahisar – Borivali.

The huge pandal is hosting the 10 ‘avtaars or ‘swaroops’ of the goddess this year as per the holy panchang which includes Saraswati Devi (21st Sept), Annapoorna Devi (22nd Sept), Vaishno Devi (23rd Sept), Durgaparameshwari Devi (24th Sept), Chamundeshwari (25th Sept), Shantadurga Devi (26th Sept),  Chandika Devi (27th Sept),  Mahakali Devi (28th Sept), Mahalaxmi Devi (29th Sept) and Sharada Devi (30th Sept).These Avatars are created by the committee members of the GSB SabhaDahisarBorivali with much efforts and devotion. Almost 100 props are used for the decoration and changing the looks and setting of each Avatar which includes giving an entire make-over for the murti, the backdrop, the costumes, the setting, the props like Saraswati Devi on Peacock, Lotus of Mahalakshmi Devi, Devil of Mahakali Devi, Vegetables Décor for Annapoorna Devi, Vaishno Devi on Lion Chariot, Animal Figures like Lion, Tiger, Leopard, Peacock etc and more. This year the Mahalaxmi Idol will be accompanied by Sri Balaji, also the idol is traditionally adorned with a golden crown and silver arch (prabhavali) created at Udupi (Karnataka).

ಮುಂಬಯಿ, ಸೆ.21: ಗೌಡ ಸಾರಸ್ವತ್ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ್ ಸಭಾ ದಹಿಸರ್ ಬೊರಿವಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸುವ ನವರಾತ್ರಿ ಉತ್ಸವ 2017ಕ್ಕೆ ಇಂದಿಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಆರಂಭ ಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಕುಲಗುರು ದೈವಕ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀಮದ್ ಸುಧೀಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಗಳ ಕೃಪೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನ ಕಾಶೀ ಮಠ ವಾರಣಾಸಿ ಕಾಶೀ ಮಠಾಧೀಶ ಶ್ರೀಮದ್ ಸಂಯಮೀಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಅವರ ಅನುಗ್ರಹದೊಂದಿಗೆ ದಹಿಸರ್ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಎನ್.ಎಲ್ ಕಾಂಪ್ಲೆಕ್ಸ್‍ನ ಸಾರಸ್ವತ ಕಲ್ಚರಲ್ ಎಂಡ್ ರಿಕ್ರಿಯೇಷನ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಮಾಧವೇಂದ್ರ ಸಭಾಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿನ ಭವ್ಯ ಅಲಂಕೃತ ಮಂಟಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಷ್ಪಾಲಂಕಾ ಗಳಿಂದ ಶೃಂಗಾರಿಸಿ ರಜತ ಪ್ರಭಾವಳಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ವರ್ಣಮುಕುಟ, ವಜ್ರ, ಚಿನ್ನಾಭರಣ, ಶ್ರೀಸರಸ್ವತಿ ದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಹರಿ ಗುರು ಸೇವಾ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ ಗೊಳಿಸಿ ನಂತರ ಕನ್ಯಾ ಲಗ್ನಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ನಡೆಸುವ ಮುಖೇನ ದಶ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ `ದಹಿಸರ್ ದಸರಾ’ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ವೇದಮೂರ್ತಿ ಲಕ್ಷಿ ್ಮೀ ನಾರಾಯಣ ಭಟ್ ಇವರ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಪೌರೋಹಿತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವೇ| ಮೂ| ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ್ ಭಟ್, ವೇ| ಮೂ| ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಪುರಾಣಿಕ್, ವೇ| ಮೂ| ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಪುರಾಣಿಕ್, ವೇ| ಮೂ| ವಿನಾಯಕ ಪುರಾಣಿಕ್ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ವಿದ್ವಾನರು ವಿವಿಧ ಪೂಜಾಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ ನೆರೆದ ಸದ್ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಹರಸಿದರು. ವಿವಿಧ ಭಜನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಗಳು ಭಜನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು, ಸಂಜೆ ಸುಧೀಂದ್ರ ನಗರ ಭಜನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸಿತು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌಡ ಸಾರಸ್ವತ್ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ್ ಸಭಾ ದಹಿಸರ್ ಬೊರಿವಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಪ್ರಭು, ಜಿ.ಡಿ ರಾವ್, ಸಿ.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ರಾವ್, ಶೋಭಾ ವಿ.ಕುಲ್ಕರ್ಣಿ, ಸುಗುಣಾ ಕೆ. ಕಾಮತ್, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕೆ.ಆರ್.ಮಲ್ಯ, ಗೌ| ಪ್ರ| ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಎಂ.ಉದಯ ಪಡಿಯಾರ್, ಗೌ| ಕೋಶಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮೋಹನ್ ಎ.ಕಾಮತ್, ಜತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ವಿನೋದ್ ಕೆ.ಪ್ರಭು, ಸೇವಾಕರ್ತರನೇಕರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಇಂದು (ಸೆ.22) ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಅನ್ನಪೂರ್ಣೇಶ್ವರಿ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಬಂಟ್ಸ್ ಸಂಘ ಜೋಗೇಶ್ವರಿ ದಹಿಸರ್ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಮಹಿಳಾ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯೆಯರು ಭಜನೆ ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಂಜೆ ದಹಿಸರ್‍ನ ವಿಟಮಿನ್ ಆರ್ಟ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಕ್ಷಯ್ ಹೈರೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾಥಿರ್sಗಳಿಂದ ಭರತನಾಟ್ಯಂ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ. ಸೆ.23ನೇ ಶನಿವಾರ ವೈಷ್ಣೋದೇವಿ ಪೂಜೆ, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಜಿತೇಂದ್ರ ಮಿಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಸಮೂಹದಿಂದ ಜ್ಹಾಲಿಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಕೃಪಾಜ್ಹಾಲಿ ಭಜನೆ. ಸಂಜೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಕಲ್ಚರ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯಿಂದ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಸೆ.24 ರವಿವಾರ ದುರ್ಗಾಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಿ ಪೂಜೆ. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ನಾಡಲಹರಿ ಸಮೂಹ ಮುಂಬಯಿ ಇದರ ಹೇಮಚಂದ್ರ ಎರ್ಮಾಳ್ ತಂಡÀದಿಂದ ಭಕ್ತಿ ರಸಮಂಜರಿ, ಸಂಜೆ ಸುಜಾತಾ ಎ.ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೋರಂಜನಾ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆ ನೇರವೇರಲಿದೆ.  ಸೆ.25 ಸೋಮವಾರ ಚಾಮುಂಡೇಶ್ವರಿ ಪೂಜೆ, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಮಹಿಷಾ ಮರ್ಧಿನಿ ಭಜನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಿಂದ ಭಜನೆ. ಸಂಜೆ ವಸುಧಾ ಕಾಮತ್ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ. ಸೆ.26 ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಶಾಂತಾದುರ್ಗಾ ಪೂಜೆ, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ್ವರ ಭಜನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಿಂದ ಭಜನೆ. ಸಂಜೆ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಕಲಾ ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸ್ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯ ಜೀನಲ್ ಮೆಹ್ತಾ ಇವರಿಂದ ಭರತನಾಟ್ಯಂ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶ, ಸೆ.27 ಬುಧÀವಾರ ಚಂಡಿಕಾ ದೇವಿ ಪೂಜೆ, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಹರಿ ಬೊಲಾ ಭಜನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಿಂದ ಭಜನೆ. ಸಂಜೆ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು. ಸೆ.28 ಗುರುವಾರ ಮಹಾಕಾಳಿ ಪೂಜೆ, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ವರ್ಣಾಂಜಲಿ ಭಜನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಿಂದ ಭಜನೆ, ಸಂಜೆ ದೀಪೆÇೀತ್ಸವ.

ಸೆ.29 ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಪೂಜೆ, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಘ್ನಾರ್ಥ ಭಜನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಿಂದ ಭಜನೆ. ಸಂಜೆ ಹಳದಿ ಕುಂಕುಮ, ಸೆ.30ರ ಶನಿವಾರ ವಿಜಯದಶಮಿ ದಿನ ಶಾರದಾದೇವಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 9.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾಥಿರ್sಗಳಿಗೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ವಿತರಣೆ, ನಂತರ ಭಜನೆ. ಸಂಜೆ 4.00 ಘಂಟೆಗೆ ಭಕ್ತರಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀದೇವಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಸೀರೆಗಳ ಲಕ್ಕಿಡ್ರಾ  ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಸಂಜೆ 5.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ  ವಿಸರ್ಜನಾ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ನೇರವೇರಲಿದೆ.
ಆ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ದಶವಾರ್ಷಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಈ ಶರನ್ನವರಾತ್ರಿ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಡಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭಕ್ತರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಶ್ರೀಗಂಧ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಿಯ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗುವಂತೆ ಉತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಂಘಟಕ, ಜತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸಾಣೂರು ಮನೋಹರ್ ವಿ.ಕಾಮತ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಎಂದಿನಂತೆ ದಿನಾಲೂ ರಾತ್ರಿ 7.00 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ 10.00 ಗಂಟೆ ತನಕ ಗರ್ಭ, ದಾಂಡಿಯಾ ರಾಸ್ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ದಿನಂಪ್ರತೀ ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕೈದು ಸಾವಿರ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ರೂಪವಾಗಿ ಅನ್ನಸಂತರ್ಪಣೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಸೆ.28ನೇ ಗುರುವಾರ ಮಹಾಕಾಳಿ ದೇವಿಯ ಆರಾಧನೆಯ ದಿನ ಸಂಜೆ 6.00 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ ದಿಪೆÇೀತ್ಸವ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.

ದಶವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ದಹಿಸರ್ ದಸರೋತ್ಸವ ಆಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ದೇವೇಂದ್ರ ಫಡ್ನಾವಿಸ್, ಇತರ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು, ನಟನಟಿಯರು, ಶಿವಸೇನಾ ವರಿಷ್ಠ ಉದ್ಧಾವ್ ಠಾಕ್ರೆ, ಸಂಸದರು, ಗಣ್ಯಾಧಿಗಣ್ಯರು ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದ್ದು ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಸೆಳೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಸೆ.30ರ ಶನಿವಾರ ವಿಜಯದಶಮಿ ದಿನ ಶಾರದಾ ದೇವಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ   ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ  9.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾಥಿರ್sಗಳಿಗೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ವಿತರಣೆ, ನಂತರ ಭಜನೆ. ಸಂಜೆ 4.00 ಘಂಟೆಗೆ ಭಕ್ತರಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀದೇವಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಸೀರೆಗಳ ಲಕ್ಕಿಡ್ರಾ  ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಸಂಜೆ 5.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ  ವಿಸರ್ಜನಾ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ನೇರವೇರಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನವರಾತ್ರಿ ಉತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಂಘಟಕ, ಜಿ.ಎಸ್.ಬಿ ಸಭಾದ ಜತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸಾಣೂರು ಮನೋಹರ್ ಕಾಮತ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
