Print Udupi : As many as 79 new cases tested for coronavirus positive and no death reported in Udupi district on Friday, October 24 which takes the total positive cases in the district are 21,431
According to the district health bulletin to the media, among 79 covid positive cases, 14 cases reported as symptomatic, out of which 12 are male and 2 are females, meanwhile out of 65 cases of asymptomatic, 26 are males and 39 are females.
Among 79 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 34 from Kundapura 32, Karkala taluk are 13 and from other districts is nill.
Details of admissions/Isolation on October 24 are: Out of 79 positive cases, COVID care Centre and in designated COVID Hospital, in designated COVID Health Hospital are 17 and Home Isolation is 62.
A total of 1,67,766 samples have been collected so far including 1972 on 23.10.2020, A total of 1,46,335 samples have turned out to be negative so far in the district, including 1877 on 23.10.2020. Total discharged patients till today are 19,927 patients including 173 on 23.10.2020
As many as 21,431 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district including 92@ today. Till today 178 persons are succumbed to death due to Coronavirus in the district. No death case reported today on Saturday, October 24.
