Print Udupi : Priyanka Mary Francis, CEO of Udupi Zilla Panchayat has been promoted as Deputy Commisioner of Udupi district. She will be taking over charge from T. Venkatesh who has been posted as Managing Director of Mysugar Mill (Mysore Sugar Company Ltd.) until further orders.
The transfer order was issued by the state government on Tuesday, 21st February, 2017. Priyanka Mary Francis will be taking over the charge from T. Venkatesh who had taken charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Udupi District on 29th July, 2016.
Priyanka Mary Francis a degree in Electronics Engineering who an IAS officer of the 2009 batch. She has earlier served as the Chief Executive Officer of Chikkamagaluru Zilla Panchayat. After completing IAS exams, she joined as the assistant commissioner of Belgaum district.
She was took charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Udupi Zilla Panchayat in 17th November, 2015.
Meanwhile, altogether the state government has ordered transfer of 11 officials.
