Print Udupi : District BJP leaders celebrated former chief minister of Karnataka and President of BJP state unit B. S. Yuddyurappa at Sri Krishna Math Gou Shala with offering prayers along with Sri Vishweshatheertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar Math and Sri Vishwaprasanhatheertha Swamiji here on Monday, 27th February, 2017.
Speaking with media persons, Mattar Rathnakar Hegde President of Udupi district BJP unit said that due to the severe drought situation in the state, district unit of the BJP had celebrates B. S. Yuddyurappa’s 74th Birthday in the Gou Shala. It will be necessary to implement law to ban slaughtering cows in the state. We hope the law will be brought after B. S. Yuddyurappa becomes chief minister of Karnataka.
Meanwhile Raghupathy Bhat also said that earlier when B. S. Yuddyurappa was the chief minister of Karnataka passed bill against the slaughtering of cows in Karnataka legislative assembly. But the then governor as well as congress government of centre not able to brought the same.
We will get more than 150 seats in next election in 2018. B. S. Yuddyurappa surely appointed as chief minister of the state. Then we are going to bring the bill to be passed as in Centre also our government there.
Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, Raghupathy Bhat, Katpady Shanker Poojary, Baikady Suprasad Shetty, K. Suresh Nayak, Yashpal Suvarna, Geethanjali Suvarna and other leaders of BJP were present.
