Print Udupi : In the present state budget, from the Karavali Development Authority Rs. 20 crore aid set aside in relate to the development of various projects, said Ivan D’Souza MLC and chief whip of legislative council.
He was speaking after inaugurating well equipped Fish Market at Mudarangady, near Padubidri on Sunday, 19th March, 2017 at the cost of Rs. 1.20 crore. He said that the present fish market can avail the place for 26 fish selling women. There will be various projects for the development of Mudarangady that the four lane road will be underway at the cost of Rs 1.65 crore and further Rs. 2 crore has sanctioned for the development of Mudarangady road. Rs. 80 lakhs sanctioned for the development of Nandikur Road. For the development of the Mudarangady and the Kaup as centre for the constituency, the role of Vinay Kumar Sorake MLA and former Minister has been extraordinary one. It is due to his hard work the constituency developing tremendously, he said.
Vinay Kumar Sorake presided over the programme. Mudarangady Grama Panchayat President David D’Souza, Vice President Jayanthi Poojarthi, ZP member Shilpa G Suvarna, Taluk Panchaat member Michael Ramesh D’souza, St. Francis Xavier Church Parish Priest Rev Fr. Francis Xavier Lewis and others were present.
