Udupi : Everyone must understand that your profession must serve least understand person which means to serve the poorest of the poor. It will useful to the community which would be gain for your profession of medical science, said N. Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte University,Mangalore.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the Graduation Day ceremony of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunateshwara (SDM) College of Ayurveda on Thursday, 30th March, 2017 at Sri Dharmashtala Mathrushri Rathnamma Memorial Golden Jubilee Building, Bhavaprakasha Auditorium near here.

Under the management of SDM, this institution providing quality education and not only this institution SDM management have plenty of various institutions which providing top class educational service. It have been good reputation in Engineering, Medical and other institutions on their own. So graduates who studied in this institution are blessed one. This institution grown great institution and should maintain the same, he said.

The graduates should learn the login in life that should held and guide the patients who suffering lot. You must understand once you get degree you must practice Ayurvedic medicines and also researching. Allopathic medicines are better than Aurvedic, but some cases Aurvedic are better than Allopathic. Even though one who get degree in medicines should go on researching. Learning never ends. Medical graduates should practice the profession with human values and care, he said.

Earlier after the invocation by Kum. Anuradha and team, Dr. Shreekanth U, Principal of the college requested to the President to declare the Graduation Day open and Prof B. Yashovarma, Secretary, SDM Educational Society, Ujre President of the programme declared the Graduation Day open.

The presentation of 75 students for the Award of BAMS degree by Dean of the student Welfare Sri Subramanya Bhat which Award of President’s Gold medal handed over by chief guest N. Vinay Hegde. The awarding certificate given by N Vinay Hegde and Prof. B. Yashovarma. Convocation declared closed by Prof. B. Yashovarma.

Earlier Dr. Shreekanth U welcomed the gatherings. Prof. Yashovarma gave away his presiding address. Dr. Murlidhara Sharma proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Ravindra Angadi, Associate Professor compered the programme.
