Print Udupi : On the occasion of the centenary birth anniversary celebrations, district Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha to be organized district level ‘Men Day night Kabaddi Tournament’ Deen Dayal Trophy – 2017 at Manipal M.J.C. Ground on Saturday, 20th May, 2017 from 7.00 PM.
Speaking with media persons at Udupi Press Club, Kuhiladi Suresh Nayak, Convener for Pandit Deen Dayal Centenary Celebrations committee, Udupi said that the tournament will be inaugurated at 6.30 pm by Shobha Karandleje, MP of Udupi-Chickmaglur Constituency which Pernakila Shrisha Nayak, President of BJP Yuva Morcha will preside.
He said that the winners will get Deen Dayal Trophy 2017 along with cash Rs. 15,555/=. The runners will get Rs. 9,999/- and runners permanent trophy and third place will get Rs. 5,555/- and permanent trophy. The prizes are also given to best rider and best catcher.
BJP workers will plan to visit all the houses to give information about the Central Modi government’s achievements. The campaign will start from 1st June to 25th June which will be organized by the BJP committee, he said.
15 teams will be participated which every minimum two teams will be allowed in every constituency. Only BJP workers are only allowed in the team, he said.
The prize distribution will be held on Sunday, 21st May, 2017 in the morning. K. Udayakumar Shetty Senior BJP leader will distribute the prizes. During the inauguration of the tournament as well as valedictory programme, the officials of the BJP district committee to be present.
Harish Poojary Parkala, Convener, Pernankila Shrisha Nayak President and other officials were present during the press meet.
