Print Udupi : Karnataka Rakshana Vedike to be organized “Udupi to Karsargod Chalo” on Thursday, 8th June, 2017 against various demands.
Speaking to media persons at Udupi Press Club on Monday, 5th June, 2017, Praveen Kumar Shetty, State President of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike said that Kasargod is the part of Karnataka state, but unfortunately due to some of the misruled people, the Kasargod district included in Kerala State even though more than 90% of the people speaks Kannada language in Kasargod district. Due to the result of Kerala people’s hard work and failure to implement Mahajan report by the central government had unfortunately the said part of Karnataka included in Kerala state. The KRV will fight to get back Kasargod to Karnataka and organize state wide protest.
He said that Kerala state imposed to compulsorily use Malayalam language in schools which illegal in constitution, so that large number of Kannada speaking people are in trouble. We fight to get back the Kasargod district and to hold Karnataka Bandh on 12th June, 2017 all over Karnataka State.
Meanwhile there are illegal disruptions of daily life of Belagavi district under the influence of MES MLAs against the Kannada speaking people of Belagavi. There should be put ban on MES organization in the state. Moreover, our farmers are target by the politicians and officers of the governments. the farmers’ loan has not waived by the both central government and state government. Kalasa project should be implemented, he said.
