Udupi: 5^th ICYM General Body Meeting & Election of New Office Bearers of Udupi Diocese for the year 2017-18

Sharline D’Sa from Belman parish of Shirva deanery was elected as the president in the annual meeting. The election of new office bearers was held in Don Bosco hall at Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi on 18^th June 2017.

The annual general body meeting was held under the leadership of Loyal D’Souza, later the session continued to the election of office bearers for the year 2017-18. A session on ‘social sensitization’ was conducted by Dr Vincent Alva, Principal, Milagres College; Kallianpur & Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Rev Fr Anil Jacob D’Sa, Regional Youth Director of Karnataka Region.

Fr Edwin D’ Souza, the Diocesan Youth Director, presided oath taking ceremony to the new office bearers.

Sr Hilda Mascarenhas & Mr. Walter D’ Souza, Diocesan animators and others were present. Former president Loyal D’Souza welcomed the gathering while the newly elected president Sharline D’Sa delivered the vote of thanks. Lavita Pinto, Gangolli compered the entire programme. Around 132 youth were present on the occasion.
