Lions Clubs International marks 100 years with huge convention in Chicago

The Most Awaited 100th Lions International Convention was held with pomp and pride at Chicago from 1st to 4th July at McCormick place, Chicago.

The Most significant and incredible event as packed with numerous events, activities,  seminars large exhibitions and International Food Courts were there at the venue.

More than 20000 Lions members attended from more than 125 countries to this Mammoth gathering as Lions Clubs International were celebrating 100 years in the city of its Birth, in Global Service to the Needy and Downtrodden. says Ln Subhash Bhalwal, Multiple Chairperson, a Vashi resident.

Ln Hanuman Agarwal, from Mulund Mumbai was installed as District Governor of District 3231 A2 along with other District Governors of all other Districts of nearly 210 countries across the Globe on 4th July at McCormick place Chicago, USA.

The Installation of International President Ln Dr Naresh Agarwal,from New Delhi  who is the first Indian of the 2nd Centenary of Lions Club International is absolutely an amazing feat, which goes down in the History for Years to come. Ln Hanuman Agarwal was specially felicitated for extending 7 New Lions clubs in District 3231 A2 at the beginning of Lionistic year.

Over 4000 Lions from India Gathered at Chicago to enthral various splendour of events, for the first time "WE SERVE” further Presented “NAMASTE INDIA" a Programme of most entertaining Promotion of "Brand India" which was appreciated by One and All.

Navi Mumbai many members like Ln K John Mary John, Ln DR Anagha Kunnure, Ln Anoop Tharwani, Ln Alok Mishra, Ln Savitha Nayak, Sudha Rani Jain, Ln Jain Mr & Mrs Swati Lele, Ln Sushma Dalvi and Many others attended the event. Even  from Mumbai, Ghatkopar, Mulund Thane to Alibag many members LL Padma Agarwal, Ln Rajul & Ln Badresh Patel, Ln Sangeeta Kasliwal, Ln Rajesh Kumar Mehra, Ruchita  Mehra, Shailesh Potdar, Rajeush Ballamwar, Mala Shetty, Ln Mahesh Gupta,

Ln Rohidas Sawant, Shankar Ramnath,Ln K J Parekh, Aruna Gokhale, Ln Divya & Mukesh Bajaj, 2nd Vice Dist,Governor Ln Maneshwar Nayak etc attended.

Plenary Sessions, Global Leadership Seminars, Opening and Finale of the events, Voting, Presentation of Humanitarian Awards were truly historic, added glory and glamour to This 100th International Convention wherein thousands of People walked the International Parade on 1st July around City of Chicago starting from McCormick place.

Now we welcome District Governor Ln Hanuman Agarwal, with "Welcome Home" Function on 16th July 2017.
