Udupi : The peace of the world can possible only by India itself. After world tour to 27 countries in the world, I can imagine that I have the experience after the visit of various countries; our value of religion is greater, said Sri Sri. Sugunendra Theerta Swamiji of Puttege Math.

He was speaking after felicitation by the citizens of Udupi on the occasion of installation of Sri Krishna  Idol in newly established Sri Krishna Tempe at New Jersey, United States of America , he said even though there was some obstacles in Sri Krishna Math in relate to overseas mission of him, he conveyed the Madhwacharya’s teachings and it would be due to the influence of Sri Krishna, it was possible to the mission of transforming Sri Krishna’s teaching to the third world. He is happy that his mission of keeping faith in Sri Krishna going on with the intention to have faith in Hinduism.

Prior to the stage felicitation programme, Puttege Math Swamiji Sri Sri Sugenendra Theertha was received warmly at Jodukatte, near Big Bazar by top dignitaries of the Udupi without any cast or political parties. He was brought from Jodukatte via Court Road, Diana Circle, K.M. Road, Head Post office to Rathabeedhi to Rajangana.

The felicitation stage programme was held at Rajangana of Sri Krishna Math, which presided over by Sri Sri. Vishwatheertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar Math. Sri Belapu Deviprasad Shetty Vice President of reception committee welcomed the gatherings.

Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha junior seer of Pejawar Math, Dr. Sri Sri Shivarudra Swamiji of Belimath of Bengaluru, Sr. Veerendra Heggade of Dharmastala, Pramod Madhwaraj district in-charge minister, Vinay Kumar Sorake, K. Raghupathy Bhat former MLA, Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje first citizen of Udupi and President of Udupi CMC, Dr. Mohan Alva President of Alvas Educational Institutions, Moodubidri, Suresh Shetty Gurme Industrialist, Dr.P. V. Ashok Kumar Nisarga Ayurvedic Center, Bengaluru, Dr. Halekote Vishwamitha Secretary of America Kannada Koota USA, Sri Krishnarao Kodancha President of Chamber of Commerce Udupi and others were present on the dais.

Dr. Veerandra Heggde, Pramod Madhwaraj, Vinay Kumar Sorake, Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji, Sri Shivarudra Swamiji and Dr. Halekote Vishwamithra were spoke during the occasion and praised Sri Sugenendra Swamiji.

In his presiding address Sri Pejawar Math Swamiji said that if though there were complications, the trips to overseas by the Puttege Math Swamiji great. Anjeneya conveyed message of Seetha to Ram, but Puttige Sri conveying message through flights in overseas and Puttige Swami working between Overseas and India which tremendous.

During the occasion special postage stamps were released on the occasion by the Swamiji’s on the dais. Rajshekar Udupi Post head was present.
