Disruption of CMC meeting - ruling congress members gave memo against the BJP members to DC

Print Udupi : The ruling Congress Councillors under the leadership of CMC President Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje handed over memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis against the opposition BJP members who are always disrupting the common meetings and not allowed to conduct the same. The memorandum was given after the chaos and disruption of common meeting on Thursday, 31st August, 2017.
As per the memorandum to DC, says that since four - five months BJP members continuously disrupting the proceedings of the CMC meetings which great concern and painful for us. The developmental works going on very smoothly in every 35 wards of the CMC which not wanted by the opposition. In every meeting the opposition is attacking the President, vice president with loud unconstitutional words by the BJP members.
In today’s incident that the opposition came down to well of the council meeting and disrupting the proceedings with chaos and shouting against the ruling party. Yashpal Suvarna and Mahesh Thakoor snatched the mike of the president and snatched the agenda book from commissioner which shown the disrespect to the house, alleged in the memo to DC.
During the occasion Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje President, Sandhya Tilakraj Vice President, Yuvaraj member and former President of CMC, Ramesh Kanchan, Chandrakanth Naik, Janardhan Bhandarkar, Shobha Kakkunje, Celine Karkada and other ruling congress councilors were present at the DC office.
