Udupi : Hindu Jagarana Vedike, Vishwa Hindu Parisheth and Bajarang Dal jointly staged a protest near the DC office, Manipal on Wednesday, 11^th October, condemning atrocities on Hindu activists in the state.

Speaking to Sunil K. R. Assistant Convener of Bajarang Dal, Mangaluru Division said that after the Congress government led by Siddaramaih came to power, the government securing the Islam fundamentalists and filing cases on Hindu leaders. If the Hindu activists ask for justice they will be booked cases against the Hindu activists for demanding justice. There is no justice from the government for the Hindu leaders.

He said that the government indeed using the police department to book cases against the Hindu activists for demanding justice. We herewith strongly condemn the anti-Hindu policy of the Siddaramaih government at state.

He said that the government is appeasing the minority for vote bank, instead of arresting those who are involved in cow trafficking and illegal cattle slaughtering, the police are arresting Gau Rakshaks. We strongly oppose the movements of the state government against the Hindu activists.

The home minister had ordered the arrest of Jagadish Karanth for delivering a speech and arrested him. But the court realized that Jagadish Karanth was innocent and immediately granted bail. There are several murders of Hindu activists in coastal Karnataka especially. The cases filed against the Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. The cases filed against various Hindu Organization leaders and Hindu activists. The Siddaramaiha government is trying to finish of Hindu activists by arresting them and putting in the jail.

He said that around 28 places, the protest are held against the state government for their policies on majority Hindus. Geetanjali Suvarna, Dinesh Mendon and other among were present.

After the protest the delegation submitted memorandum to the Governor of Karnataka through Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis.

Meanwhile protest also held at Hebri today. Dinesh Shetty, Raghavendra Devadiga, Sudhakar Hegde, Prakash Shetty, Prasannha Kumar Shetty and other among were present. The leaders handed over memorandum to PSI at the site of protest at Hebri.
