Udupi : More than Rs. 1800 crore worth record develop0ment work has taken place in the last four and half years during Pramod Madhwaraj’s tenure, said Janardhan Thonse, President of Udupi district Congress Committee.

He was speaking to media persons during the press meet at Udupi Press Club on Tuesday, 14^th November; he said that the developmental work has taken place at Udupi Legislative constituency due to corruption – free, honest, transparent and active administration. This was possible only due to initiative seriously taken in round the clock service to the poor by Pramod Madhwaraj, he said.

But, in spite of the constant honest effort and developments made by the Pramod Madhwaraj, it is unfortunate that some of the BJP leaders’ jealousy is making baseless allegations against the Minister Pramod Madhwarj which people of Udupi never tolerate, Janardhan Thonse said.

Being a member of Udupi legislative constituency, Pramod Madhwaraj honestly in the presence of concerned officials successfully undertaken “Janasamparka Sabhe; is unique and modern approach. He has conducted meetings in 31 villages of Udupi Panchayat and also all 35 wards of Udupi Municipal Council with the intentions of responding problems of the people with honest solutions, he said.

As per the promises made during the election, Pramod Madhwaraj is working honestly and relentlessly towards the vision of making Udupi as a moden constituency by 2025. In accordance with Vision 2025, in different sectors like education, Health, transport, road development, bus stands, bridges, continuous supply of electricity, water distribution, homes and others implemented and all the promises fulfilled. Pramod Madhwaraj have the dream that by 2025, Udupi has become role model to India and hence due to his developmental work in constituency makes the people happy and popular.

People of Udupi know better that Pramod Madhwaraj is giving charity work like giving donations from his own business, He doing his charity like his father who used to make during his time. There could be ups and downs in trade and economy which are natural. Pramod Madhwaraj is doing the charity within these limitations, Thonse said.

Thonse alleged that Raghupathy Bhat is accusing the Pramod Madhwaraj stopping charity work and also stopped the distribution of cement after the election. Pramod is doing the charity within the limitations.  Without any political purposes, the developmental works are going on in Udupi. 200 bed air-conditioned with multispecialty hospital is going to inaugurate shortly. This hospital one of the first hospital in India and credit must go to Pramod Madhwaraj for his efforts, Thonse said.

Thonse said that Congress never need Raghupathy Bhat. Right from the beginning, Congress Party has opposed the behavior of Raghupathy Bhat that he accused of Padmapriya death case, Rave Party case, Sex CD case, land scam and many more scams. Such person never taken into the Congress Party and the question of inducting him in Congress Party never arises. There is no need to learn lesson like such person, said Janardhan Thonse.
