Print Udupi :Pratibha Purashker Day celebrated at Milagres Kannada High School , Kallianpur near here on Monday, 27th November at Milagres Tri-centenary Hall.
Very Fr. Stany B. Lobo Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions presided over the programme. Prof. Sophia Dias, HOD in Hindi, Milagres College, Kallinapaur, Smt Sabitha Award winner, Government Higher Primary School, Kelarkelbettu, Smt.Collin D’Souza Award winner, Milagres English Medium School, Kallianpur and Smt. Judith Lewis, Headmistress, Bilingual School, Germany, Europe were the chief guests on the occasion.
Prizes were distributed to all the talented students in various fields during the occasion. Smt. Sabitha and Smt Collin D’Souza both Alumni of the Milagres High School were felicitated during the occasion for their achievements in education and award winners.
Prof Sophia Dais appreciated the students for their various talents in the academic year and spoke during the occasion. Smt Sabitha and Smt. Collin D’Souza gave gratitude words for the honoring them and also spoke during the occasion.
Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo called the students to achieve in their life and take advantage from the school’s infrastructures.
Earlier Paul Lobo Headmaster of the school placed the academic report. School Pupil Leader proposed vote of thanks. Students of the school compered the programme. Dr. Nerry Cornelio Vice President of Milagres Cathedral Parish Pastoral Council and former Principal of Milagres College, President and Vice President of PTA were present on the dais.
Various dances, skit, Yakshagana and other entertainments were held on the Pratibha Purashkar Day Celebrations.
