Udupi : The SC unit of Udupi Block Congress Party staged a protest near at War Memorial, Ajjarkad here on Wednesday, 27^th December, against the Ananth Kumar Hegde, Union Minister on his various controversial comments on Indian Constitution and rape and murder of Dalit girl Danamma.

Addressing the protestors, Udupi Block Congress President Sathish Amin Padukere said that BJP party members themselves are involved in Danamma rape and murder case and BJP silence on the Danamma rape and murder case. We strongly condemn the rape and murder of Danamma.

He said that especially during the election time, BJP doing dirty politics and playing a major role in terror between the various communities. We condemn the fake Hindutva of BJP.  We also condemn the statements of the Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde on Constitution and various statements on the backward and other minorities’ communities.  BJP is planning to keep aside the interests of lower class people and the minorities as well.

Addressing to protestors, Janardhan Bandarkar, Senior congress leader said that L.K.Advani during the election campaigning, initiated Rathayathra in 1992 and fueled to violence throughout the country. While condemning the rape and murder of Danamma in Vijayapura near Honnavar, Janardhan Bhandarkar said that the silence of BJP in the murder raises in several questions. He alleged that the silences of BJP against the murder of Danamma due to the accused who are arrested in the case are the workers of the BJP.

 Amith Shah was initiated the communal violence like Godhra violence at Gujarat. Shobha Karandlaje in Karnataka has been trying to initiating the communal violence also. Under the instructions and election campaigning initiatives of the Amith Shah, National BJP President creates the communal disharmony in Honnavar, Kumta, Sirsi, Bantwal and other places of Karnataka.

Condemning Ananth Kumar Hegde’s statements on changing Indian Constitution, Janardhan Bhandarkar said that comments on constitution by the minister which will insult to the nation. He is not fit to be a minister of Union government. Hence, Narendra Modi, Prime Minister should drop him from his cabinet at the earliest.
