Udupi : The visit of the Congress Workers to voters’ houses should convert into the vote for the Congress party candidates, said Manjunath Bhandary, KPCC Secretary.

Addressing the party office bearers at Congress Bhavan situated at Bramagiri here on Monday, 5^th February, Manjunath Bhandary said that the congress workers should touch directly with the people and should need to give the various projects information and works done under Siddaramaiha government during the house to house programme. There should be need to win the confidence of the people on the Congress achievements in the state.

Since 1978 along with Oscar Fernandes, he has been touch with the people of Udupi district and he knew the people and Udupi District is not new for him. Rahul Gandhi, the National President of Congress Party wants to strengthen the party from root level and gave the responsibilities to the workers. There should be accountability and responsibilities while working in the party, he said.

In the present situation, working in the party not like before. Every Congress leaders have the responsibilities in his positions and they should accountable in it. There are various scope for the congress leader with their achievements and accountabilities and responsibilities in the party, he said.

Along with me, party officials have the responsibility rather than power. The Congress party’s prime ideology and achievements should reach easily to the voters and the people. There should be need to bring the power once again in the state, he said.

The problems and needs of the people should listen with quit and should try to solve through the leaders of the party. So we  can win the confidence from the people, he said.
