Udupi : National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Amith Shah will address the Fishermen Convention to be held on 19^th February, 2018 at 3 pm with the join collaboration of Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Uttar Kannada districts which organized by BJP at Malpe Sea Shore beach.

Addressing to media persons during the press meet held at BJP office on Thursday, 8^th February, Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, Udupi District BJP President, said that the huge fishermen convention to be inaugurated by Amith Shah and address the gathering.

State BJP President Yeddyurappa, Union Ministers, Udupi MP Shobha Karandlaje and DK MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will take part in the convention cum rally. National President Amith Shah will be participates various programmes in Udupi on 19^th to 20^th February afternoon.

Mattar Rathnakar Hegde said that on 20^th February morning Amith Shah will address the Social media activists convention and also will address the Shakthi Kendra incharges convention. He will participate in the Navashakti Samavesha at Uttar Kannada district in the afternoon.

Mattar Rathnakar Hegde said that the Fishermen Convention will be conveyed by Yashpal Suvarna, DK and Udupi district Fishermen Federation and to assisted by Lalaji Mendon former MLA of Kaup, Sandanand Balkur, Shashikanth Padubidri, Naresh Koderi, Pandurang Malpe, Manju Billava along with Legislative council member Kota Srinivas Poojary and Sunil Kumar Karkala MLA, Sukumar Shetty Byndoor, Kiran Kodgi Kundapura, Jayaprakash Hegde, Haladi Srinivas Shetty, Raghupathy Bhat, Gurme Suresh Shetty.

Mattar said that since the introduction of the Congress Government in the state, in various ways disturbing the Hindus. Congress is deliberately interfering the working of Maths and temples. It shows clearly the motives against the Hindus led by Siddaramaiha. Due to strong opposition from the people, the government turned back not to do so which taken in due to forthcoming election. If once again Congress party in power, surely Congress will bring the order to take the maths and temples.

Under the Siddaramaiah led government, 175 to 184 cases on minority community were withdrawn and those who released are active members of SDPI, PFI and KFD against the Hindus. Once again the government tried to withdraw the cases against minority criminals. But more than 1000 cases are registered against the Hindus. We strongly condemn the government’s motives against the majority Hindus, he said.
