Udupi : Most of the deaths of Hindus in the state occurred were various non-communal reasons and other victims were killed by members or groups of community of Hindus only. Meanwhile due to suicides some death occurred, said Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy.

Addressing the media persons after holding a review meeting of the Coast Guard, Home Minister released the three documents to prove that contrary to BJP’s claims that the list of Hindus killed by right-wing outfits, other list that Muslims murdered by right-wing outfits and thirdly the list of Hindus killed by the members of their own community. All these three lists were produced in the Legislative Assembly and Legislative council. The contrary to BJP claims, Ramalinga Reddy said that there were total of 21 attacks held which 11 cases the targets were Muslims, who were killed right-wing outfits. Most of the Hindu activists were killed by their own outfits.

Ramalinga Reddy said that do not believe the allegations by the BJP that Hindu activists have been targeted. The deaths occurred due to various reasons. All the cases of deaths were investigated and arrests were done and submitted chargesheets.

He also said that some of the victims attacked where not died for instance Ashok Poojary. Rajan Madikere was an alcoholic who jumped off a building while Vaman Poojary hanged himself and died. Ashwath Kumar was hacked to death over political rivalry with a person called Keshamurthy. One Yogesh Gowda called was murdered due to land dispute. But, despite these facts, the BJP has been claiming all these deaths as communal orders. Meanwhile he said, as many as 11 Muslims were murdered by right-wing outfits. They why the BJP silent on murders of Muslims, he asked.

He said that there are several cases against the Yogi Adityanath, chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. He have no moral right to say Siddaramaih government leading corruption in the country. First, the Uttar Pradesh state has been first among in the country in rape cases and crimes followed by Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

He said that during the Congress government in the state the rate of crimes far lower than BJP ruled states. Uttar Pradesh is the top most exported of beef in the country.
