Udupi : The bid farewell function held to Philomena Quadros and Elsi Lewis of Milagres English Medium School, Kallianpur near here on Saturday, 17^th March, 2018 by school administration, school faculty and school students. 

The adieus function of the farewell to both of the staff held at Milagres English Medium School ground here which began with invocation prayer song and dance by the students. Rev Fr. Lancy Fernandes,SJ,  Principal welcomed the gatherings. 

Mrs Philomena Quadros who served continuously since 24 years in the Kindergarten section of the school and Mrs Elsi Lewis served since 25 years for the Milagres English Medium School. Both retired staff expressed their sweet dreams during the occasion.

Two students and Mrs. Shanthi Fernandes gave their opinion in relate to the retired staff of the school. The colleague Mrs Collin D’Souza read out the appreciation letter on Mrs Philomena Quadros and Miss Cecilia Lewis read out the appreciation letter on Mrs Elsi Lewis prior to felicitations.

The Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo felicitated both the retired staff. After the felicitation programme, both Mrs. Philomena Quadros and Mrs Elsi Lewis have spoken their gratitude address with emotions.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo appreciated both the retired staff for their marvelous support and service for the great institution of Milagres and blessed both of them.

Dr. Nery Cornelio Vice President of Milagres Parish Pastoral Council and Secretary Felciana Lewis, School Management member Gregory D’Souza, PTA President of primary section Sri Jayaram Nittur and PTA President of High School section Smt Shakuntala, Primary Section Headmistress Mrs Veera D’Silva were present during the occasion.

Kumari Savina, Assistant teacher compered the programme. Janice Furtado delivered vote of thanks. All the teaching and non-teaching staff along with students were present during the felicitation function.
