Udupi : I am happy to Pramod Madhwaraj’s legal notice to me, let him file the defamation suit against me, T. J. Abraham, Social Activist.

T.J. Abraham who had made allegations of fraud against Pramod Madhwaraj last week, after that Pramod Madhwaraj has given T J Abraham three days to tender an apology or face Rs. 10 crore defamation case.

After the two days, T.J. Abraham held press meet at Udupi Press Club on 24^th March, and said that Pramod Madhwaraj has given me three days to tender an apology or face a Rs. 10 crore defamation case. He said there are two provisions quoted for committing offence under Section 500 and 501 of IPC in the legal notice. Two days after I received the notice sent by Pramod Madhwaraj. Today I am here in front of media. Herewith I must say that I welcome his legal notice. I have accepted the challenge by Pramod and let him file the case within 30 days time as soon as possible.

Abraham had recently alleged that Pramod had mortgaged three acres and eight cents of land in Uppoor village at the value of Rs. 1.1 crore in his filed affidavit. and he obtained a loan of Rs. 193 crore from Syndicate Bank, Malpe Branch. I argue that the loan taken by him was disproportionate to the value of the mortgaged land. He had mortgaged his property in 2010/11. He updated his moveable and immovable properties as declaring before the Lokayukta in the year of 2015/16. As per the documents given to Lokayukta in 2015/16 , the Madhwaraj’s family wealth total Rs 40,27,41,987 crore. Hence, how it is possible to get an loan of Rs. 193 crore, he asks?

Abraham said that he will give to file a defamation case against me within 30 days. If he does not file defamation case against me then it will be my turn to take to the court and I will file a defamation suit against Pramod, he said.

I have any political pressure to file fraud case against Pramod Madhwaraj. All 224 MLA’s property records with me in my office. I am doing homework to find out property value of all the MLAs either BJP, Congress, JDS or others and filed cases against some of them. I have not any political objectives. No person put me pressure in regard to Pramod Madhwaraj’s fraud case. Whoever it may be, if where there is fraud, I will fight against them legally. I do not care and afraid of anyone. Jesus has given me full power to fight against the corruption, he said.
