Udupi CMC Commissioner D. Manuhathaiah transfers to his former Education Department

Udupi : On the background of Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections, as per the guidance from the Election Commission, Udupi City Municipal Commissioner has transferred to his former department of Education with immediate effect by state government order.
On account of transfer of City Municipal Commissioner D. Manjunathiah has filled by Udupi Urban Development Authority Commissioner Janardhan. Meanwhile, Janardhan will be given extra responsibilities of Udupi Urban Development Authority also as per the order from the state government.
But there is no decision taken in regard to transferred D. Manjunathaih’s responsibilities and post in the education department.
As per the state government order, meanwhile Kundapura Town Council Chief Officer Gopalakrishna Shetty transferred to Ullal Town Council of Dakshina Kannada District and Ullal Town Council Chief Officer Vani V Alva has transferred to Kundapura Town Council.
Meanwhile, the Chief Officer of Karkala Town Council Mabel D’Souza has transferred to Thirthahalli Town Council of Shivamugga District as Chief Town Council Officer and Nataraj Chief of Thirthahalli Town Council has transferred to Karkala Town Council Chief as per the state order.
As per the Election Commission’s instructions, the list given to state election commission in regard to working since three years by the Officers. Hence, those who working since more than three years in same department has been transferred, said Priyanka Mary Francis, Deputy Commissioner of Udupi District.
