Udupi : Former DySP and General Secretary of newly formed Bharatiya Janashakti Congress , Anupama Shenoy will contest from Kaup Legislative assembly constituency in forthcoming election to be held on 12^th May, 2018.

Addressing with media persons during the press meet at Udupi Press Club on Friday, 13^th April, Anupama Shenoy said that the Bharatiya Janashakti Congress Party established on 18^th February, 2018 and the election commission allotted Ladies Fingers as symbol of the election. BJCP will contest in 30 legislative constituencies. Along with me 15 candidates were finalized to contest in the election and given B form, said Anupama Shenoy.

She said that Abishek Gowda from Kanakapura, Harish Narayana Gandhi from Chamarajpet, Ashwin Desai from Bilagi, Durgesh Megamani from Haveri, Laxmiramaiah Shetty from K. R. Pura, Praveen Kumar from Chamundeshwari, Rakesh Teli from Vijapura, Saipulla from Vijayanagara, Vasim Ahmed from Byatarayanapura, Mallikarjun Chouhan from Badami, Shyamsunder Kulkarni from Chitradurga, Raghavendra from C. V. Nagara, Basavaraj Nalavada from Hunagunda, Sharanappa Bhimsha Zhaleke from Alanda, Venketesh Uppar from Raichur and Anupama Shenoy from Kaup constituencies finalized.

She said our party is following the principles on Indian Nationalism. Our party believes that according to Indian Constitution those who are citizens are all Indians. Bharatiya Janashakti Congress party can only change the common men in the country and it was the dream of Mahatma Gandhiji.

The features of our party is to secure the democracy, look on to rule of law along with popular rule laws, fighting against the corruption, importance to the agriculture, preservation of environment, build a society free of fear, pre-women and pro-sustainable government, alcohol free in various stages, peaceful our party and so on, she said.

She alleged the corruption from the Siddaramiah government in allotting to construct a hospital in Udupi by the Dr. B. R. Shetty group, Hublot watch case of CM Siddaramiah which one of the doctor working in BR Shetty hospital in abroad gave to CM and Jog Falls issues. She written letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and she received positive reply from the PMO, she said.

In relate to Vinay Kumar Sorake MLA Kaup constituency, she said Siddaramaih sacked Vinay Kumar Sorake from his cabinet which upset for me, even though he had done nothing wrong. But Sorake has not done much for the development of the Kaup constituency. Adani group sponsored some of the road developments rather nothing he had done for the constituency, she said.
