Udupi : Congress Party will absolutely win with clear majority in the forthcoming state legislative assembly elections, Vinay Kumar Sorake, Kaup MLA and former minister for state.

Addressing a pressmeet at Udupi Press Club on Friday, 20^th April, Vinay Kumar Sorake said that Congress Party will with more than 130 seats and once again Congress will form the new government in the state.

He said that he will file his nomination papers on 23^rd April. Prior to filing nomination papers he will visit Kapu Janardhan Temple with offering prayers and later he will offer special prayers in Kaup Marigudi. He will file his nomination papers with large number of his supporters after visiting the temples.

He also visit Udyavara Church, Kaup Polipu Masjid, Sri Vishwanath Ksthra and after visit of Sri Krishna Math and will take blessing from the Paryaya Swamiji.

Speaking to the Anupama Shenoy’s allegation that Vinay Kumar Sorake didn’t made any developmental works in Kaup Constituency. But since two years we can see the development at Kaup.  Replying to this Vinay Kumar Sorake said that any records of corruption charges against me let them to prove the allegation. Obviously, I didn’t see her house rather I met her. But I knew that she belongs to Kaup constituency. She lacks the knowledge of leadership, Sorake said.

Sorake said, I am asking the votes with my developmental works in my constituency. I have the experience as a MLA, Minister, MP. I prove the voters with my achievements in the politics, he said.

Speaking in regard to dissent activities in Karkala Constituency, Vinay Kumar Sorake said that it is common in politics in all the parties. It is nothing new I feel, he said.

Regarding Sorake took blessing from the Congress Senior leader Janardhan Poojary, Sorake said that Janardhan Poojary is most senior leader of the party. In the previous election he canvassed for me. He is sick now. I also met Oscar Fernandes at Delhi. He is also our senior leader and he is also sick now. I need the blessing from these leaders all the time in my political life, he said.

Vinay Kumar Sorake said that as preparation for the legislative assembly elections, there are congress workers conferences will be organized at Hiriyadka on 21^st April at 9 am and later in the afternoon at Shirva.
