Udupi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s during district visit on Tuesday, 1^st May, it is not sure that he will visit Sri Krishna temple here, said Raghupathy Bhat, BJP candidate of Udupi assembly constituency.

Speaking to media persons at District BJP office at Kadiyali on Sunday, 29^th April, Raghupathy Bhat in reply to said that even though there was time to visit Sri Krishna Math, Siddaramaiah not visited Sri Krishna Math. Due to the scheduled timings on meantime, the election campaign meeting and visit of Sri Krishna math may not possible for Narendra Modi to visit Sri Krishna Math. Siddaramiah would be arrogant person not to visit the Sri Krishna Math, Raghupathy Bhat said.

Addressing to media persons, Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, District BJP President said that due to busy schedule of the PM, he may visit the temple. Narendra Modi will arrive to Adi Udupi Helipad at 2.50 pm on Tuesday, 1^st May. There after he will directly move to M.G.M. College Ground for the election campaign meeting. Mattar requested to the people to gather prior to 1 pm at MGM ground.

Mattar said that due to zero traffic on that time, there could be chances of traffic standstill and all the participants for the meeting should take their seats prior to 1 pm when the cultural programme will be conducted by Jagadish Puttur. There will be one lakh of people expected and full ground pandal would be arranged. Water and butter milk will be provided to the participants, he said.

He said from Udupi district around 25000 people are expected and the people from Karwar, Kumuta also to participate around 15000 people each.  The candidates of Udupi, Karwar and Kumuta will be present on the dais.

Dr. Mahendra Singh, minister of UP and local and other leaders will present on the dais. With the permission of election commission, the Udupi city will be shining with Kesari flags and buntings.

UP minister Dr. Mahendra Singh, Kerala BJP General Secretary Surendran, Kota Srinivas Poojary, local leaders Uday Kumar Shetty, Suresh Nayak Kulaidy, Sandhya Ramesh and Prem Prasad of Yuva Morcha were present during the press meet.
