Udupi : To give a chance to senior leader Kagodu Thimmappa, Vinay Kumar Sorake sacrificed his ministership, said D. K. Shivakumar, Senior Congress leader.
He was speaking at the party workers meet at Rajiv Bhavan at Kaup on Wednesday, 2nd May, D. K. Shivakumar said that Vinay Kumar Sorake is a great asset to the state. If we create leader like Vinay Kumar Sorake, it will take at least 25 years in the state. It will be responsibility of Kaup Constituency people to keep Sorake who master of development.
He said after the Janardhan Poojary, a senior leader’s place, Sorake has filled. Sorake has spent his 5 years with lot of development of his constituency with plenty of time spent for the betterment of the people. The people of Kaup should elect Sorake with highest margin of votes and send him to the Vidhana Sauda, he said.
During the Modi’s election campaign in Udupi that Modi praised the opposition leader Deve Gowda which shows his weakness. Modi shown his real colour with praising Deve Gowda, he said.
Vinay Kumar Sorake said that D K Shivakumar had solved the great problem of UPCL in the constituency. Earlier there was no electricity continuously for the Kaup Constituency. But after, DK Shivakumar becomes Energy Minister, the problem of electricity solved with 24 hours power supply.
During the occasion film actor Sadhu Kokila said that it should be need to vote congress candidate for the overall development by the congress government once again.
