Four Bajarang Dal activists arrested for Hussainabba’s suspicious death case

Udupi : Laxman Nimbargi, District Superintendent of Police has officially confirmed that four Bajarang Dal activists have been arrested by the Udupi Police in connection with the suspicious death of cattle trader Hussainabba (62) at Perdoor on 30th May, 2018.


The arrested have been Bajarang Dal leaders Suresh Mendon alias Suri (43), son of late Raju Mendon, Kamala Nilaya, Kalsande, Perdoor, Prasad H. Kondadi(30), Son of Heriya Marakala, Bommarabettu, Hiriyadka, Umesh Shetty(28), Son of Vittal Shetty, Gorel, Perdoor and Rathan(22), Son of Ramesh Poojary, Bommarabettu, Udupi.

Suresh Mendon and Prasad Kondadi were arrested in Bellary and Umesh Shetty and Ratan were arrested in Udupi district.

It is learned that Suresh and Prasad were the main accused in the crime and they were arrested in Ballery. Rathan and Umesh who had helped in the crime.

As per the complaint lodged by deceased Hussainabba’s brother Mohammed Ismail in the Hiriyadka Police station on 30th May and allegedly beaten his brother Hussainabba at 4 pm by the suspected Bajarang Dal activists. Based on the complaint, the Hiriyadka Police had filed a case under several sections of IPC.
