Udupi : YCS training program and election of new central council was held on 1st July 2018 at Don Bosco Hall, Udupi. The Program began with the Holy Mass followed by the training session for YCS members and animators of Udupi Diocese.

 Elections of the new office bearers for the year 2018-19 were held after the training session. Resource person for the animators training was Fr. Edwin D’Souza ,Director Youth Commission and for YCS office bearers was Mr. Norbert Misquith .

The valedictory function was after the election which was presided by Mrs. Valida . Fr. Edwin D’Souza YCS Director, Mr. Norbert Misquith Diocesan Resource Person , Melwyn Castelinho  and Lydia Aranha  Diocese Animators and officials of YCS were present.

Fr. Edwin D’Souza administered the oath to the new office bearers. Newly elected office bearers took the charge from the past office bearers during the occasion. Former president Mr. Merlyn Vijay Rodrigues welcomed the gathering    Former Secretary  Dilan Dias presented the report & Treasurer Araon read out the annual account.

Newly elected president Mr. Sohanil  Pereira proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Simona Sony D’Souza compered the program

Around 175 Students and 29 Animators from 36 units participated in the program.
