Udupi : When we transgender get elected as Prime Minister or other top level posts in the country, people surely expects ‘Achhe Din’ in the country, predicts R. J. Kajal, transgender, actress from Brahmavar.

Interacting with students of Milagres College, Kallianpur near here on Wednesday, September 19 during Students Darbar prorgamme, R. L. Karjal said that if she would become top posts in the country, there will be good governance better than other gender. Earlier she placed her profile briefly how she becomes recognized as transgender. By birth she was male and later she became discriminated as transgender. She is recognized in Ranghboomi as actress. She said that transgender people do experience a persistent disconnect between their assigned sex and their internal sense of who they are.

She told the students during their interaction, that a transgender woman lives as a woman today, but was thought to be making when she was born. Their community risk social stigma, discrimination and harassment when they express who they are. Many their community fear that they will not be accepted by their loved ones and others in their life. They have identity of their own like Aadhar card, voter card, PAN card and even ration card. As per the Section 377, the Supreme Court recognized them and put forth all facilities and other whatsoever as what normal citizen will get.

There are some transgender who works in top level posts in government and other offices in the country. The government has providing all the facilities even houses and other for their community. Transgender community equality requires a social justice approach that fights all form of discrimination as well.

She born in Mandya of Karnataka state and migrated to Udupi and now her life succeed in Udupi district with warm love from the people of Udupi and she called as Kajal Brahmavar. Asking with she said clapping is the symbol of transgender. For her life is like a drama. Manjunath Kamath is role model to her, she said.
