Print Udupi : Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte with the support of Mount Rosary Stree Sanghatan and Liturgy Commission organized “BLOOM TODAY AND EVERYDAY” programme on 16th September 2018 for 9th, 10th, Ist and II PUC students along with their parents.
The Programme started with Mass at 9.30 am by the Youth Director, Shimoga Diocese, Rev. Fr. Pius Dsouza, who was also Resource Person of the day. After the Mass, programme continued in the Mount Rosary Hall by his talk and interaction with the students and parents. In his talk, he explained the students why they have to obey their parents, importance of parents in children’s life and how to build good relationship between parents and their children .
In their team, Sr. Severine, Bengaluru also interacted with the parents and explained how to grow up their children amidst the present day distraction in the Society. She said there was need to develop the sprit of forgiveness in the family. She also explained the developments that happened in the society because of negligence of parents.
Smt. Anita Dias, President of Stree Sanghatan welcomed the gathering. Parish Priest, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Lesli Dsouza, conveyed his best wishes to the programme. Asst. Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Clany Dsouza sought the feed back from the children . Smt. DAizy mendonza, proposed vote of thanks to the programme.
Around 150 Parents and children participated in this Programme.
