Udupi : Madhu Bangarappa was a most eligible candidate in the by-election to be held on Saturday and he will win in the Shimoga Lok Sabha by-election.

Addressing a press meet at Udupi Press Club on Thursday, November 1, Bhoje Gowda MLC and JD(S) leader said that his party along with Congress work together for his victory. He said Madhu Bangarappa might have lost in the assembly election, but he will win this election. He is the state president of JD(S) youth unit.

He said that BJP senior leaders should take care while they are talking on JD(S) leaders. Meanwhile BJP leader Janardhan Reddy had given statement on Siddaramiah’s matters which strongly objectionable. These irresponsible statements will shows the exact color of the BJP. Janardhan Reddy came from an underworld mafia. He does not deserve to do service, he said.

Since four months the chief minister took into confidence with the Congress leaders. JD(S) and Congress work in this election with unity, he said.

In regard to B S Yeddyurappa’s objectionable statement on fielding Madhu Bangarappa as their candidate, Bhoje Gowda asks that what about the BJP candidate or Ramnagar and where he was brought from? Before giving statement, the BJP leaders should mind their words, he said.

Bhoje Gowda said that we are very much excited to know the election result of Ramanagar. We are going to give presentation to BJP leaders on Ramanagar election results.

In regard to sand extraction crisis, Bhoje Gowda said that the coastal MPs Nalin Kumar Kateel and Shobha Karandlaje should speak to central government. It is the problem of Union government. Let them to hold meeting with central leaders and to sort out the crisis. But state government under the leadership of Kumaraswamy will try to solve the issue at the earliest, he said.

He said that it is not fair on mixing sand issue with politics. BJP has trying to politicize the issue for their benefit. Kota Srinivas Poojary must mind over statement on the issue. They should not mislead common people during the elections.

JD(S) district President Yogish Shetty, JD(S) leaders Vasudev Rao, Pradeep Bailoor, Jayakumar Parkala, Pradeep and other were present during the press meet.
