ಮಣಿಪಾಲ : ಡಾ. ಓವೆನ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ರಿಂದ ಮಾಧವಕೃಪಾ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಶಿಬಿರ 
 
ಮಾಧವ ಕೃಪ ಶಾಲೆ ಮಣಿಪಾಲ ಇದರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ರಕ್ಷಕ ಸಂಘವು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು  ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ  ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ಒIಖಿ ಯ ಸರ್ ಒ. ಗಿ.  ಸೆಮಿನಾರ್ ಹಾಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು.  ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ  ಜಾನ್ ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸ್ವೆಲ್ ಸರ್ಟಿಫೈಡ್ ಟ್ರೈನರ್ ಡಾ. ಓವೆನ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಇವರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಒIಖಿ ಯ ಜಂಟಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಃಊ ವೆಂಕಟರಾಮ್ ಪೈ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ನವೆಂಬರ್ 17 ರಂದು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳಿದ್ದು, ಅದನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಹೊರತೆಗೆಯುವ ಗುರುತರ ಜವಾಬ್ಧಾರಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ  ಎಂದು ಆಡಿ ಃಊಗಿ ಪೈ ತಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

"ನವ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ  - ಸವಾಲುಗಳು ಹಾಗು ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು” ಹಾಗೂ   "ಆದರ್ಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು" ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು  ನವೆಂಬರ್ 17 ರಂದು ನಡೆಯಿತು.  ನವೆಂಬರ್ 18 ರಂದು ಮಾಧವ ಕೃಪಾ  ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ "ಯೂಥ್ ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸ್ ಪ್ಲಸ್" ನಾಯಕತ್ವ  ತರಬೇತಿ ಶಿಭಿರವನ್ನು ಡಾ ಓವೆನ್ ರವರು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು.   ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಾರವು  ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವನದ  ಮೌಲ್ಯ, ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಭಾವನೆ, ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿ, ದೃಢ ನಿಷ್ಠೆ, ಉತ್ತಮ  ನಡತೆ,  ಮತ್ತು ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಡಾ. ಓವೆನ್ ಇವರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು   bಡಿiಜge2exಛಿeಟಟ.ಛಿom ಮುಖಾಂತರ ರಕ್ಷಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸಂಘದ ಕೋರಿಕೆ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

ರಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಹರೀಶ್ ರಾಜ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಅತಿಥಿ ಡಾ. ನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಶೆಣೈ, ಸಹ-ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, ಒIಖಿ,  ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೆಸ್ಸಿ ಆಂಡ್ರ್ಯೂಸ್, ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ  ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಡಾ. ಓವೆನ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್, , ರಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಹರೀಶ್ ರಾಜ್,  ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ನಾಗರಾಜ್  ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.  ನಂದಿತಾ ಆಚಾರ್ ಇವರು ಆಡಿ  ಃಊಗಿ ಪೈಯವರನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ರವಿ ಕೋಟ್ಯಾನ್ ಇವರು ಆಡಿ ಓವೆನ್ ಇವರನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ಚೈತ್ರ  ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು., ರಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ನಾಗರಾಜ್  ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ರಕ್ಷಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸಂಘದ ಸದಸ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಶ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಕೃಪಾ ಸುನಿತಾ, ಪಾವನ, ಜಯಂತಿ, ನಂದಿತಾ, ಸ್ಮಿತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಿಯದರ್ಶಿನಿ ಇವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.

ಡಾ. ಓವೆನ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಇವರು ತರೆಬೇತುದಾರರಾಗಿ 24 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅನುಭವ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಫ್ರಿಕ, ಏಷ್ಯಾ, ಮತ್ತು ಯೂರೋಪಗಳ  42 ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬಹುರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಹಿರಿಯ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಲವು ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.   ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಇವರು ಸ್ಲೋವಾಕಿಯಾದ  ಬ್ರಾತಿಸ್ಲಾವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದ್ದು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸಂಘದ ಕೋರಿಕೆ ಮೇರೆಗೆ  ಮಣಿಪಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

Workshop for Teachers and Students of Madhava Kripa Manipal by Dr. Owen Fernandes

Parent Teachers Association of Madhava Kripa School organized a 2 day workshop for Teachers and Students of Madhava Kripa at Sir M V Seminar hall of MIT on November 17th and 18th. Certified Psychometric Analyst, John Maxwell Certified Trainer & Coach Dr. Owen Fernandes was the resource person. Joint Director of MIT Dr. BH Venktram Pai inaugurated this workshop on November 17th by lighting the lamp. Dr. BHV Pai in his inaugural address said that all children are born and blessed with talent and intelligence,  and responsibility of identifying every child’s interest and potential is the responsibility of Teachers.

One day workshop for Teachers was held on 17th November on the topics - “Leading the Millennial Generation - Challenges &  Opportunities" and  “Teachers leading as ROLE MODELS”. YouthMAX leadership program, a half day workshop for students from age group of 15 to 18 years was held on 18th November. The goal of this program was to equip and empower youth to develop their leadership skills through adding value to others. In this workshop, Dr. Owen demonstrated the students how to develop positive self-image, showing compassion to others, persevering in the midst of adversity, and creating a daily routine of successful attitudes and behaviour.

Guest of Honor Associate Director of MIT Dr. Narayan Shenoy K, Principal Mrs Jessy Andrews, Resource Person Dr. Owen Fernandes, PTA President  Mr Harish Raj, Secretary Mr Nagaraj were present on the dias. PTA President, Harish Raj welcomed the gathering. Nandita Achaar introduced the chief guest Dr. BHV Pai, and Ravi U Kotian introduced the Dr. Owen to the audience.  PTA Secretary Nagaraj delivered Vote of Thanks. Event started with invocation from Krupa, Sunitha, Pavana, Jayanthi, Smitha, and Priyadarshini. 
About 100 teachers and 80 students of Madhava Kripa have benefited from this workshop.
