Rego Events Private Limited presents ‘EnviGreen Miss and Mrs Mangaluru 2018’ Charity Pageant

Mangaluru: The Rego Events Private Limited organized ‘EnviGreen Miss and Mrs Mangaluru 2018’ at the City Beach on December 23. The programme was inaugurated by former MLA Abhaychandra Jain by lighting the traditional lamp along with Mr L Goel Chairman Organ Donation India Foundation & Chief Promoter of Pandit Health Resort & Spa Mr Amit Kumar DC CISF, Mr Srinivas Member Censor Board, Mr S K Chaturvedi Industrialist, Dr Ramesha President Rotary Club Moodbidri were present among others.

The Grooming sessions were held on Dec 21 and 22 at the Maya International Hotel. On the day 1 – Dec 21st, the following rounds were held at Maya International Hotel.
Introduction round, Mangalore toastmasters contest, Formation rehearsals, Valpadi charity trip, Pool shoot and the fitness round.
Introduction round was taken care by Ms. Jasmine Nair. Rehearsals were taken care by fashion choreographer Sarita and Vardhan Pai, Toastmasters club contest was judged by Judges TM Brian Fernandes, TM Sukanya Rao, TM Prathibha Nambiar, TM Sachita Nandagopal, TM Yvonil D’Souza along with Contest Master TM Divyashree Gatti, TIMERS - TM Ranjani, TM Jyoti and Demo Speaker TM Sindhu Prabhu.

Valpadi charity program was held at Anegudde Aided higher primary school wherein Rego Events team distributed blankets, school bags, drawing kits, grocery etc to 110 students of the school apart from giving sports items to school. Ms Joyce Rego & all the contestants of Miss & Mrs Mangaluru 2018 were present amongst others.

Pool shoot was done at Pandit Health resort by the celebrity photographer Mr. Dheeraj Dhixit followed by the fitness session. The contestants were taken through different rounds to judge their fitness. The fitness session was handled by Mr. Vikas Puthran and Maithri Malli.

Day 2 grooming started with makeup session by Vanya’s Bridal Studio – Ms Vinaya Dsouza wherein the demo of makeup was given and she also explained the basic dos and don’t to be followed. Talent round was hosted by Josmita D’souza wherein all contestants did their best. Hair and skin session was taken care by Styling partner - Lakme Academy.

Grand Finale was divided into three rounds

1.    Ethnic wear round by Designer Gunjan Jaiswal
2.    Creative eco-friendly round by contestant themselves
3.    Evening Gown round by Designer Mohan Gowda

After the sequence completion, top 6 from each category were called on the stage for question answer round
Miss Category – Amanda Lasrado, Raksha Rao, Ashwini Poojary, Nishitha Fernandes, Prajnya D S & Sushmitha Acharya
Mrs. Category – Tejaswini shetty, Smitha Damodar, Lyvia D’almeida , Veena D’souza,  Anitha Soans & Deepa Muddapur

Nishitha Fernandes – 1st Runner up
Prajnya – 2nd Runner up

The Winners in Mrs Category are

Tejaswini Shetty – 1st Runner up
