Fishermen delegation met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on missing fishermen issue

Udupi : A delegation of fishermen met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, January 9 and requested Union government to trace missing fishermen who are missing since 25 days.

 

 

Both prime minister and finance minister accepted the appeal by the fishermen and delegation and reportedly assured all possible maximum help from the Union government and do their best to resolve the issue.

The fishermen leaders Sathish Kunder, Yashpal Suvarna from Malpe and others were present in the delegation to Prime Minister and Velji Bhai Masani All India Fishermen Association president and secretary Yashpal Suvarna, Nalin kumar Kateel MP, Shobha Karandleje MP and Nithin Bolur MP and Raghupathy Bhat Udupi MLA.

 

The fishermen from Malpe, Satish Kunder and Yashpal Suvarna were amidst the delegation. Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, fishermen delegation also met the Union government Finance Minister Arun Jaitly and submitted appeal to trace the missing boat. All India Fishermen Association President Velli Bhai Masani and secretary Yashpal Suvarna, Coastal MPs Nalin Kumar Kateel and Shobha Karandleje, Malpe Fishermen Association President Satish Kunder and others were present.
