New Star Sports club (R) Tonse Nidamballi celebrated its 25th Anniversary.

The silver jubilee celebration ‘Rajatha Sambhrama-2019” of New Star Sports Club (R.) Tonse Nidamballi was held recently at Nidamballi School premises. The occasion was presided by Mr. Janardan Tonse, President Udupi district Congress committee. The guests of honor were Mrs. Puspha S Kotian, President Kallianpura panchayath, Mr. Bhaskar Jathan, Honorary president of Billava Sangha Santhekatte and Mr. Harish Palan Nidamballi, Member, Kallianpur panchayath. Mr. Muniyalu Udayakumar Shetty has also witnessed the program. New star President Mr. Mohan Kundar welcomed the dignitaries. Following achievers from various fields were felicitated on this occasion. Subhedar Ashok Kumar Tonse (received by his wife Mrs. Sharmila Ashok on his behalf) and Hawaldar Anil Kumar, Moodukudru were felicitated for their services in Indian Army, Pratheeksha K for state and national level volleyball championship and Navya Tingalaya for securing ranks from Mangalore University. Mr. Uday Kallianpur for his outstanding performance in Tulu drama, the well-known master of ceremony Mr. Sathishchandra Shetty, Nejar,  Dr. Melissa Lewis, Nidamballi and Dr. Naveen Tonse for obtaining their Ph.D. award from MAHE and Mr. Janardhan Tonse for his social services.

Various private organizations such as Mogaveera Yuva Sanghatane, Kallianpur, Nirmal Tonse (an environment conservation activist), Hampanakatte Friends and Sri Bhagavathi Theeyaa Samaja, Nejaru together with other individuals who involved in several social activities namely, Mr. Shekhar Gujjarbettu, Mr. Snehith Kumar Nidamballi and Mr. Chandrakanth Laxminagara and achievers Mr. Rakesh Poojari Hoode (Drama artist) and Disha Dinesh Poojary Edabettu (Higher marks in SSLC board examinations-2018) were congratulated and recognized.

A financial help has been extended to families of poor economic background facing various hurdles in their life.

Amazing dance crew, Santhekatte entertained with their spectacular dance performances and Chaithanya Kalavidaru Bailooru team portrayed Tulu drama “Buddi Chapat”. Former presidents Naveen Kumar and Snehith Nidamballi were the masters of ceremony, assisted by Raghuraj, Sachin Suvarna and Ramanand Salian. Mr. Ashok Kumar made vote of thanks.
