Print WE club of West Coast visited BHARAT SEVASHRAM SANGHA Vashi, whcih is dedicated to help BPL Cancer Patients, coming for their treatment to Mumbai. Yugacharya Shrimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj & other members, informed that services rendered by the Mumbai Branch Of Bharat Sevashram Sangha include free accommodation, counseling, free ransportation to TMH, Parel, awareness, distribution of free milk and biscuits, daily food, rehabilitation for cancer patients etc. Also it involved in arranging seminar, competition for school students, Annadaan, etc.
We Mamta, WE Asha Verma, WE Kunda said they often visit them, as the sangha has temple, taking care of people from many other states, cancer patients who come to Mumbai to get treatment. Most of these patients belong to Below Poverty Level Strata. As the treatment of cancer is a very lengthy and costly process, the patients face problems in getting cheap lodging for them.
WE Mamta & Mr Puranik said they have been visiting the Sangha since 35 years, feel at peace as it is dedicated to a noble cause.
The other members visited from West Coast are Parvati Angadi, Anjali Pakhale, Kusum Gupta, Vaijayanti Gaitonde etc who donated for the cause to Bharat Sevashram as they have been doing this for over 35 years, also joined by WE Mala Shetty Dist.President, WE District 323 A2.
