Kundapur : There is no Modi wave in Karnataka. The contribution of the Modi government to the state nothing, but only rumour which used by the paid media, said H D. Kumaraswamy.
Speaking to reporters at Kundapur after the convention of fishermen, H D Kumaraswamy said that the surveys which are showing in the news channels fake. BJP has spent Rs. 550 crore for the media and hence the news channels are showing fake surveys instead of the reality, We are going to win 20 to 23 seats in Karnataka state, he said.
The Kannada news channels were projecting as if the parliamentary elections were being held in Mandya, Hassan and Tumakuru alone. These media are forgotten other parliamentary seats in the seat. He said he son will going to win by a big margin in Mandya, he said.
He said this time BJP cannot fool the electorate, people knew the contribution of Modi government. The youth are jobless and BJP only misguiding the youth in the country since five years, he said.
To another query, he said there would be a change in the coastal districts after the parliamentary elections. The Congress will win the Dakshina Kannada seat and JD(S) will win in Udupi and Uttar Kannada parliamentary seats respectively, he said.
To a query, Kumaraswamy said that the achievement of Union Minister Ananthkumar Hegde was his reckless statements but not the development. Neither Narendra Modi nor Ananthkumar Hegde not done anything for the development, he said.
Later, Pramod Madhwaraj said that the media looking for garnishing him only, but Yeddyurappa’s diary issue and Shobha Karandlaje’s corruption issues and other, media can’t looking into. The media is completely one sided, he said.
